After tonight’s contest towards the Los Angeles Clippers, the Lakers will head to Arizona to face the Phoenix Suns for two games this coming Wednesday and Friday.
Having James and Davis within the lineup for each contests might be very useful, because the team has a number of new key players who might want to construct chemistry with L.A.’s two superstars.
Guard Dennis Schroder, wing Wesley Matthews and large males Marc Gasol and Montrezl Harrell, specifically, would profit from getting some reps with James and Davis through the preseason.
The Purple and Gold will open the regular season on Dec. 22 towards the Clippers at Staples Center.
